I began day care in my home in 1988 When my son was 18 months. I continued to provide childcare in my home even as my only family grew. 16 years later my youngest of four has entered Jr. High. and I enjoy Family Childcare still. I am an active member and board member of the Family Childcare Association, a support group for Family Childcare providers. I attend many educational trainings and support activities for Family Childcare providers. In 1996 I attained  lead teacher certification  for Infant, Toddler, Preschool and Kindergarten, I now have  an Associates in Early Childhood Education and I am currently working towards my Bachelors in Education.
